About

Pieter Clicteur – Photographer & Visual Artist

Pieter Clicteur is a Belgian photographer whose work delves into the emotional and conceptual realms of human experience. With a keen eye for detail and a deep sense of empathy, his photography goes beyond surface-level aesthetics, seeking to capture the soul of his subjects. Mainly specializing in artistic portraiture, his series often explore themes of identity, vulnerability, and the raw complexity of the human condition.

Pieter’s approach is experimental, blending traditional techniques with modern technologies. His conceptual portraits, often created through compositing, allow him to explore emotions that cannot be easily expressed in words, presenting viewers with raw, layered images that speak to deeper truths. His work invites reflection, challenging conventional perspectives and pushing the boundaries of portrait photography.

Pieter’s artistic journey is driven by a passion for storytelling. His images are a visual language through which he communicates the unspoken. Whether through stark black-and-white portraits or intricate, layered composites, his photography creates space for connection, introspection, and dialogue about the nuances of the human experience.
